Getting There
If you are considering to pay Paris a visit, you can choose from a variety of transport options in order to reach the city.
Paris is home to two major airports. First, Roissy Charles de Gaulle, which is the major airport of the city. Second, Orly, which, measured by international standards, could also be classified as a major hub of air transportation.
Both of these airports have very good connections into the city itself. Be aware, that given the size of the airports, you will have to factor in some time to find your gates, the correct exit, etc.
Paris is the major hub of rail transportation in France. All major cities can be accessed from one of the big rail stations located all around city. Depending on your target or where you're coming from, a different rail station will be your target. If you are coming from Switzerland, you will arrive at the Gare de l'Est, for instance.
